PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — It’s an initiative to stem the tide of South Dakota’s “brain drain.”
South Dakota Housing has introduced a new initiative to assist recent graduates in purchasing their first home in South Dakota.
The program is open to those who have not owned a home in the past three years, purchased a primary residence in-state, and earned a degree from an accredited postsecondary educational facility within the past 60 months.
SDH plans to offer this program for a limited time through participating lenders.
